These crays will not breed readily in the aquarium. They breed in
late summer and fall. They need the winter over period to produce young.

Never Mix With: Crustacean eating fish that can fit the cray in its mouth.

This crayfish prefers cold water. It likes Current. A gravel substrate with a
power head in the tank is ideal. Some large rocks should be used for caves
and hiding places. They are diggers, and will create their own caves.

They are a fairly aggressive cray and the males will kill each other. 1 Cray
per 20 gallons is a good start.
