| True Aquatic Crabs |
There is one freshwater crab I am aware of that is a true aquatic crab. It comes from
Lake Malawi in Africa. We have not yet had the pleasure to work with this species but are
working hard to get a chance.
The easiest way to classify a true aquatic crab is the last set of legs. These will be
flattened off for swimming. A good example is the Blue Crab from the "salty pond".
