The aquarium must have an area out of the water. These snails lay their eggs above the waterline. A cover is a must to keep the humidity up until they hatch. Babies are fully developed and assume the same life style as the adults.

These snails are really neat due to the many colors they come in. They can easily be crossed out and new colors created by you in your aquarium. These also have a breathing tube that can be used t breath air when oxygen levels are low in the water. They breed easily in captivity.
